It was Love at First Sight!
My sister shared her love of scrapbooking, stamping and all things creative with me in 1999 and for the first 10 years I created scrapbook pages for my family.

At a card making workshop in 2010, I learned about Operation Write Home  (OWH), a non-profit company that collected hand made cards to send to military personnel serving outside of the US.  Once the cards were received these brave men and woman used the cards to keep in touch with their family back home.  I made about 500 cards a year for the next 5 years.  It also was such a wonderful feeling sharing my creativity for such a worthy cause.  

Then next several yearss I helped my alma mater - University of Wisconsin, School of Pharmacy Students (WSPS) make holiday cards for a different charity each year.

I retired in April 2017, after 30 years working for the same company. After a month deciding what I wanted to do with this next chapter in my life, I decided to become an independent demonstrator for Stampin' Up!  I have always loved the quality of their products and how everything coordinated together.

For me, helping someone create that perfect project for a special occasion is the best feeling in the world.  After all, creating cards, and gift items is more than stamps and ink - its about sharing a part of yourself with others.
